Any way you slice it, Rhode Island is a great place to eat pizza, and there’s a lot of it: a 2021 survey comparing Yelp and US Census data concluded that the state has the most pizza restaurants per resident of any state.

R.I. pizza styles range: Pasquale’s is certified by Naples’ own official pizza designation; Al Forno is credited with originating grilled pizza; and bakery-style red pie known as strip pizza is ubiquitous at parties. But it was Hotline Pizza that had my attention.
